Punch List

Punch list app enables the Superintendent to create punch list items for all the defects that are found at the project. These items are sent to respective GCs for verification and closure using the configured Workflow. The advantage of using the SmartApp Punch list is users at site can raise punch list using their mobile phones even when network is offline. Users can also take photographs , add comments on the photo using IQ sketch functionality and upload. The current authorization to create punch list item is provided to Superintendent, Project Manager and Client/Client team. This will allow multiple users to create punch list items during project closure stage.

Transmittal

A transmittal acts as a "cover page " to a set of documents that are being sent from one organization to another. It contains the overview details of the documents being sent. The Transmittal Smartapp simplifies and automates the transmittal process in a construction project. Apart from recording usual data such as sender/receiver details, date and mode of transmission, etc., it allows users to access and associate documents / drawings / photos from the Smartapp central repository seamlessl. It also maintains a historical timeline of records which can easly be retrieved or linked to other related processess.

Request Quality Inspection

During a Quality Inspection, all the processess involved in a construction project are reviewed. The review is done by experts who inspect all the aspects of a product or a process outcome in order to determine whether the specified quality standards have been met. In a construction project, a General Contractor requests the owner or architect to inspect and certify the work.
Our RQI Smartapp empowers the requestor to invite people to inspect, tick off checklists, attach photos and record approvals. It has a flexible workflow definition engine to suit any workflow that may be unique to your project.

Site Readiness Checklist

The pre-construction process for any project is complete after the contract is awarded. Once the contract is awarded, the contractor usually has to mobilise his resources to set up the construction site in order to commence construction as per the schedule. The site setup checklist is followed to track and report all setup related activities.

Safety Checklists

Safety checklist will allow Safety Team to verify and update safety conditions at a particular work site or item. This will help Safety Manager to further issue safety related permits/clearances to the GC/Contractor to initiate the work on a specific activity.

Quality NCR

Although prevention of non-conformances/deviations is preferrable, reporting them is as important in order to address and correct the non-conformance. Construction projects put systems and processess in place to report, rectify and record the non-conformances and corrective actions.

Smartapp provides an insigthful report of every such quality deviation instance. Users can sift through various locations in the project where the deviations have been reported from, their current status (like being attended to, closed, etc.). They can also view associated documents and photographs to get a complete understanding of the situation.

Submittals

A Submittal is often one of the first steps taken in a construction project after the contractor is issued the work order to proceed with construction. Submittals in a construction project are in the form of drawings, material data, samples, product data, etc. They help the architect or owner verify that the right product/process is being installed or followed.

The contractor uses the submittal data to comply with installation instructions.

With our submitta Smartapp, you can create submittal logs, define approval workflows, efficiently track and monitor compliance, and initiate/trigger appropriate actions for deviations.

Material Inspection Request

The Material Inspection Request provides information about the material inspection performed at the jobsite. As soon as equipment and material are delivered to the site, an inspection must be performed by the Material Specialist. Generally, a inspection request will be raised by the GC and inspected by the Material Specialist on the project. Material Inspection Request Smartapp enables the material specialist to schedule, perform and report inspections. The inspection step/hierarchy can also be defined, and timely reminders and notifications can be sent.

Site Readiness Checklist

RFI

RFI is a common business process to collect information . In construction industry an RFI is used when a project's document lacks information that is required to complete a work . It is generally raised by a general contractor to be answered by the client or architect . An RFI is accepted as a basis for change in scope of work and further processess are followed for cost related approvals.

Our RFI app is comprehensive ; one can use this app to get appropriate information related to a drawing / document / work specification . It has a flexible work flow engine to create project specific work flows . It also captures the expected variation in Cost and Time.

Safety Incident

A Safety Incident Report (SIR) documents the details of observations and suggestions for further improvement that are identified when a safety incident has taken place and has been reported. The objective of the Safety Incident Report is to make clear and concise observations and suggestions for such incidents not to occur again. From the SIR data, reports will be generated and documented as part of Safety Compliance. These reports can also be used to create awareness among the project stakeholders. Based on the severity, safety incidents may lead to Safety Non-Conformance of the project.

Bid Packages

Bid packages are the basis on which contracts / works are awarded to contractors in a construction project. They act as a reference point at all stages of project viz., pre construction , during construction and post construction. The same is referred to in case disputes arise. Smartapp bid package manager acts as a single source of reference for all the bid packages in a project. Critical information like value of works, duration by which work is to be completed, technical specs, BOQ's, terms and conditions, key personnel responsible like submittal manager, RFI manager, safety manager, etc., are recorded and helps in administering respective bid packages.
